An incredible overhead kick by Eduard Bello resulted in Venezuela securing a 1-1 draw against Brazil in their World Cup qualifying match for 2026. This ended Brazil’s impressive 15-game winning streak at home in qualifiers that had lasted since 2015. In the first half of the match in Cuiaba, there were no goals.

However, in the 50th minute, defender Gabriel Magalhaes broke the deadlock by scoring his first international goal with a powerful header from Neymar’s corner.

Brazil had an opportunity to increase their lead, but Vinicius Junior’s goal in the 71st minute was ruled out due to offside.

And the hosts were made to regret their wastefulness as Bello jumped up and scored from Jefferson Savarino’s passed ball in the 85th minute.
