Morocco, Portugal, and Spain have come together to co-host the World Cup in 2030, marking the debut of North Africa as the host region for the renowned global football tournament.
To commemorate the centennial of the first tournament, Uruguay, who hosted and won the 1930 edition, will organize the opening ceremony and a match, announced FIFA.
According to Fifa, Argentina and Paraguay will both host a match, which will make this competition unique as it will be the first to take place on three different continents.
