Ghanaian social media influencer and businesswoman Abena Serwaa Frimpong, also known as Shugatiti, has created a significant buzz online by disclosing her high rates for advertising on her different platforms.
Shugatiti recently revealed in an interview with Zionfelix on the ‘Uncut Show’ that her advertising rates have increased substantially. The popular social media personality admitted that she has been avoiding accepting many advertisements recently because her fees have significantly increased. Based on her statement, the minimum amount she charged some clients around two years ago was Ghc20,000, but now she charges a much higher starting fee of Ghc60,000.
Discussing the updated prices, the CEO of Pot of Shuga restaurant defended the increase by highlighting the advancements happening worldwide. She argued that this development called for a modification in the charges to match the evolving times. Shugatiti highlighted that her previous fees, which used to be approximately $2000, have now undergone a substantial change.
When asked by the host, Zionfelix, about the extent of her advertising services being sought after, Shugatiti confirmed that brands indeed approach her, mentioning her long-lasting collaborations with certain companies that have lasted for more than two years.
