Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr., also known as Shatta Wale, is a renowned reggae-dancehall musician from Ghana. He goes by the name Shatta Wale, but was previously known as Bandana.

The event occurred on October 7, 2023 at the Royal Regency in London and was attended by music lovers, fellow performers, and professionals in the field. Shatta Wale emerged victorious against a tough competition that included notable nominees such as Black Sherif, Piesie Esther, Stonebwoy, Sarkodie, and King Promise.

The recognition of the Ghana Music Awards UK Artiste of the Year title is given to the individual who has made outstanding contributions to the music industry over the course of the previous year. The artist known for their song “I Know My Level” The criteria were fulfilled.

Shatta Wale won the Reggae Dancehall Song of the year award for his popular song called ‘On God’. He finally achieved what had always eluded him, as he won the prestigious title of Reggae/Dancehall Artist of the year and was ultimately crowned as the Artist of the Year.
