Samsung has revealed the much-awaited S24 series, which includes an intriguing Google generative artificial intelligence (AI) technology integration. By fusing Google’s AI with Samsung’s state-of-the-art hardware, the partnership promises to completely transform the smartphone experience. TM Roh, the head of Samsung’s mobile experience division, reaffirmed the company’s dedication to shattering stereotypes and maximizing the power of technology in a recent statement.
The S24 series will leverage Google’s advanced AI technology, including the powerful Gemini Nano, Google’s large-language model. Users can access Gemini Pro and Imagen 2 text-to-image technology over the cloud. One of the most notable features is a live translation option in 13 languages and 17 dialects during phone calls.
To provide a more customized experience, Samsung’s S24 series brings AI improvements to apps like Notes, Voice Recorder, and the keyboard. The extensive capabilities for adjusting and enhancing photographs provided by the Imagen model improve photo editing in the Gallery app.
With Google’s “Circle To Search,” which debuted with the S24 series, users can now instantly search for material by circling selected text, images, or videos, giving users instant access to pertinent information.
This multi-year collaborative partnership puts the S24 series at the forefront of artificial intelligence-powered smartphones. According to Counterpoint Research, the market share of smartphones with generative AI is predicted to double by 2024.
Samsung’s adoption of Google’s technology further establishes the company’s leadership in the sector. Around the end of January, the S24 handsets will go on sale, giving consumers a preview of what smartphone technology could look like in the future.
Customers can expect a seamless fusion of innovation and intelligence with the S24 series, which will launch and redefine the standard for smartphones in the years to come.
