Prophet Nigel Gaisie, a renowned religious figure, has shared an anecdote about how his path towards Christianity started with the guidance of a street vendor selling fried plantains in Accra.
The leader and chief preacher of True Word Prophetic Fire Ministries recounted that a woman named Regina, who he disclosed, extended an invitation for him to attend her church when he approached her to buy fried plantain from her.
Prophet Nigel Gaisie explained that he came across the fried plantain vendor at the Odorna railway, where she was selling her locally popular fried plantain called ‘kelewele’.
“I resided at Asylum Down during my youthful years.” I had a meal with an individual who is no longer alive. He passed away while he was incarcerated. He acquainted me with the habit of smoking. I felt hungry, but there wasn’t any food available at my house.
“He disclosed that he provided me with rice, but only after I had smoked marijuana.” “We subsequently visited a fried plantain vendor at Odorna railway, who extended an invitation for me to attend church,” shared Prophet Nigel with Adom TV’s Andy Dosty.
The preacher from Ghana mentioned that he gradually became interested and started going to the church’s future services.
