The people in charge of the Uniland Festival have provided information about an incident that happened at the event between one of their security personnel and rapper Pappy Kojo.

During an interview, he revealed that Pappy Kojo was forcefully removed from the stage by a bouncer after he had insulted the bouncer’s family and mother.

According to the interviewee, Rich Focus, the troubles faced by the organizers and Pappy Kojo began when a flyer promoting Pappy Kojo’s performance at the festival was circulated online before the agreement had been finalized. He clarified that Pappy Kojo was initially not considered as a performer, but a member from Kwaw Kese’s team recommended including Pappy Kojo, even though the show organizers preferred Kwaw Kese.

Rich Focus continued by mentioning that they approached Pappy Kojo to negotiate his fee. Pappy Kojo asked for Ghc20k, which was deemed too high for their budget as they were prepared to pay Ghc10k. Moving ahead, the designer of the company distributed promotional materials, which featured Pappy Kojo, and these widely circulated on various social media platforms.

They attempted to negotiate with Pappy Kojo to accept Ghc10K for his performance, but he remained firm on wanting Ghc20K and declined to perform at the event.
