The OSP recently had a meeting with representatives from the FBI and DOJ in Washington, D.C. The main base or central location where a company or organization is situated.

The primary objective of the OSP’s visit to the FBI was to gather knowledge about how they are structured, how they operate, and their most effective methods. This visit aimed to foster cooperation and improve the OSP’s ability to grow and develop.

The Special Prosecutor had a meeting with Jason Beachy, who is the Acting Assistant Director of the International Operations Division at the FBI, along with several unit chiefs. During the trip to the Department of Justice (DOJ), Arun G. welcomed the OSP. Rao, who is the Deputy Assistant Attorney General, along with Richard Goldberg, who is the Deputy Director of the Consumer Protection Branch (CPB) within the Civil Division of the Justice Department.

The Special Prosecutor made an announcement on October 11th, revealing that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has partnered with the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) in order to thoroughly investigate the actions of Cecilia Dapaah, the former Sanitation Minister. Their collaborative inquiry will explore assets and financial transactions associated with Ms. Dapaah in the United States.

The Special Prosecutor has announced that they, along with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) @USEmbassyGhana, are conducting separate investigations into Cecilia Abena Dapaah, the ex-Minister for Sanitation and Water Resources, and those connected to her.

This collaborative effort aims to investigate the legality surrounding the riches acquired by Ms. Dapaah and her companions, moving through the hallways of both Ghana and the United States.
