Ghanaian chef Abdul-Razak Faila has been engaged in a cook-a-thon in Tamale, a city in the Northern Region of Ghana, which has now reached its sixth day.
The purpose of this endeavor is to break the Guinness World Record. Chef Faila started her attempt at breaking the record for the longest cooking marathon by a single person on the first day of the year 2024.
At present, she has exceeded the unofficial milestone of 120 hours, thereby surpassing Alan Fisher’s previous record. Her next goal is to achieve an incredible 240 hours in order to establish a new Guinness cook-a-thon record. She is currently employed at the Modern City Hotel located in Tamale.
