The 2022/2023 Super Middle League of the Western Regional Football Association started from Tuesday, June 13 to Sunday, June 18, 2023.
The Competition saw the twelve qualified clubs zoned into four groups of three teams. Clubs that top their respective groups shall qualify for semi finals.
Out of the twelve qualified clubs, only five participated in last season’s Super Middle League, the remaining seven are all debutantes.
All the matches were played at Sekondi Gyandu Park, with the Esikado Astro Turf as an alternative venue in case of heavy rains.
All the matches were streamed live on the Facebook page of the Western Regional Football Association.

Nana Ainoo-Kwagyan III, who is the Chief of Esiama community in the Ellembelle District together with Ghana legendary skipper Asamoah Gyan and John Paintsil were the special guests to grace the final showdown.
