A trusted friend of the football celebrity, who has had private conversations with Saddick Adams, stated that Michael Essien is not financially struggling as portrayed in the media.
According to Micheal’s closest friend, the ex-Black Stars player, who is currently the most popular topic, has firmly stated that he will not give any interviews to clarify the controversy surrounding the sale of his houses.
Additionally, the retired footballer does not take care of the two houses anymore, one situated at Stephen Quarshie Crescent in East Legon and the other in Trassaco, and he shows little concern for them. He provided further clarification that Essien entered into a mortgage agreement with the estate developers, but eventually realized that it was illogical to continually pay the expensive monthly mortgage fees.
As a result, he made the decision to not make the payment, which consequently led to their auctions in order to recover the investments he had made. The friend mentioned that Michael possesses high-value properties in London, Spain, and Ghana.
