Managing Editor of the Insight Newspaper, Kwasi Pratt Jnr. believes that it will be tough for former President John Dramani Mahama to prosecute corrupt appointees of the Akufo-Addo administration if he wins this year’s elections.
Mr Pratt believes that an administration of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) will have to contend with the judiciary.
Already, the NDC is accusing Chief Justice Gertrude Torkornoo and President Akufo-Addo of packing the Supreme Court with the recommendation of five Justices to be added to the Supreme Court Justices.
Speaking during the Atta Mills Memorial lecture in Accra on Friday, July 19, Mr Pratt said “Incoming Mahama administration will not find it easy to prosecute wrongdoers in the Nana Akufo-Addo administration.“There will be the judiciary to contend with. It ain’t gonna happen,” Mr Pratt stressed.
