Ghana’s Afrobeats sensation, Camidoh, has officially announced that talent manager George Britton is no longer a member of his official team. During an interview on Hitz FM with DJ Slim, the singer of ‘Sugarcane’ explained that their professional association came to an end in a natural way once their contract ended.
Camidoh made it clear that he and George Britton have no ill feelings towards each other, highlighting how they still maintain a friendly relationship even after their parting. “It’s not an official matter, and there are no negative feelings involved since he and I communicate openly.
” During the interview, Camidoh mentioned that it was acceptable that they worked without pay when the contract came to an end. Camidoh expressed his pride in Britton’s contributions to his career, acknowledging his former talent manager’s significant role. In reaction to Camidoh’s statement, George Britton provided his own viewpoint on social media, looking back on their prosperous collaboration spanning three years.
In response to a post by Kumi Kasa, he added that he has chosen to move on from managing artists after a decade and a half, in order to concentrate on fresh opportunities in Europe. Though Britton no longer has an official affiliation with Camidoh’s team, he expressed his continued backing and guidance for the artist.
