Jinapor urges NDC youth to stay calm as Mahama’s appointments continue

John Abdulai Jinapor, the Minister of Energy and Green Transition, has called on the youth of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to remain calm as President John Dramani Mahama’s appointments are still ongoing, with more portfolios and offices yet to be filled.

Jinapor made this remark during a courtesy visit to the Overlord of the Gonja Kingdom, Yagbonwura Bii-Kunuto Jewu Soale I, at the Jakpa Palace, following his swearing-in by the President on January 22.

Speaking during his visit, Jinapor expressed his gratitude to the Yagbonwura for his guidance and support throughout his nomination process and eventual swearing-in.

He noted that the visit was an opportunity to show appreciation to the Overlord for his continued counsel.

In response, Yagbonwura Bii-Kunuto Jewu Soale I advised the new Minister to discharge his duties in accordance with the law and expressed confidence in Jinapor’s extensive experience in the energy sector.
