In tandem with this, Jasmine.T who is making great strides with her craft, has expressed her desire to work with some of Ghana’s brilliant artistes.

“I’m looking to work with multiple Ghanaian artistes, but my top three are, King Promise, Black Sheriff, and Stonebwoy,” she told Joy Entertainment.

Jasmine.T intimated that the recent impact of afrobeat on the global music scene has been phenomenal.

“It gives a lot of hidden talents in Africa the opportunity to be seen, because we’ve always been here but we’ve been overlooked for a long time. Everything started here so no matter what it’s always going to come back to us. Africa is literally the blueprint,” she noted.

Born to Ghanaian parents who migrated to the United States in the 90s, Jasmine is well bred in the African culture. She started school at Monroe College and is currently pursuing her degree in Business.

Since she began her musical journey in 2018 with the her debut R&B single, ‘Lonely’, she has been working hard to break boundaries with his music.

The eclectic nature of her identity and her sound stems from her experience with growing up in various neighborhoods of the Bronx, including an uptown area predominantly home to Caribbean communities.

She combines elements of urban New York life with the vibrant rhythms of West African and Caribbean music.

Her single, ‘Sexy 23’, is testament to her versatility and the knack for creativity. She fuses the sensual grooves of R&B with the infectious energy of dancehall on the song.

Her sound is a reflection of her life experiences, offering an authentic musical experience that celebrates her heritage while staying true to her roots in the Bronx.
