Portable, a musician and songwriter from Nigeria, has announced that he has no desire for a second confrontation with Charles Okocha.
This statement refers to Okocha’s claim in a video that he was tricked during their boxing match. Okocha stated that Portable took off his boxing gloves during the third round, which should have led to an instant disqualification.
He also expressed his disagreement with the referee’s decisions, expressing his dissatisfaction with the outcome of the match and asking for a rematch. Portable answered Okocha’s requests with a collection of impassioned videos, vehemently refusing to give up the belt and expressing fear and concern about fighting him, as there was a high likelihood of a catastrophic outcome.
Instead of agreeing to a rematch, Portable opted to challenge Charles Okocha for a boxing match against Anthony Joshua, if Okocha was interested.
