Kuami Eugene has once more asserted that he requested his portion of royalties for the song ‘Case’ from Mr Drew due to his status as a relatively young artist and his longer tenure in the industry.

According to the artist who created the popular song ‘Monica’, he considers himself experienced and respected in the industry. This makes it more effortless for him to assert his authority and demand respect from younger artists like Mr Drew, unlike his experience with Keche. He shared this information on a recent episode of The Day Show with Berla Mundi while discussing the problem of not being paid royalties for Keche’s song ‘No Dulling.’

“Despite Mr. Drew possibly being older than me, I can still assert dominance over him since I was present before him.” Mr Drew is similar to a neighbor who lives next door, and we have a good connection.

“He stated that despite everything that had occurred, he still reached out to me and sent me half of my earnings.” In regards to the Keche case, he stated that he decided to put aside his dispute over royalties with them.

He explained that this decision was based on the importance of showing respect and considering the long-lasting nature of their relationship.
