Heart of Oak and Asante Kotoko are set for a transfer tussle for Tamale City forward Sampson Eduku.
The 27-year-old was one of the emerging stars in the just-ended 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season.He finished the season with 14 goals, 4 behind the goal king winner Abednego Tetteh and 1 behind Hafiz Konkoni.
In an exclusive interview with Ghanaeye.org, Nana Ainoo Kwagyan III, the Chief of Esiama and also a member of Nzema Kotoko fc management, he said and I quote ” Dreams Fc and Medeama SC will be a better destination for Sampson Eduku, He shouldn’t make the mistake to join either Hearts of Oak or Kumasi Asante Kotoko.

As a result, the forward is reluctant to continue with the North side to the lower-tier league.Meanwhile, several unconfirmed reports suggests that Sampson Eduku has posted a transfer request amid interest from several clubs.With Heart and Kotoko are reportedly keen on the forward after enduring a difficult campaign. The two teams will look to strengthen their squad ahead of next season.
