A gunfight during a mission to prevent a robbery on a mobile money vendor in Ejura, located in the Ashanti Region, resulted in the death of a police officer.
The individual who passed away is known as Sergeant Ahmed Kamal and had the service number 42250.
Another police officer was also injured by gunshots while engaging in a gunfight with the robbers; the Police Administration has not disclosed their identity.
