Ghanaian music producer Vacs, whose real name is Francis Evans Ackah, has revealed details about his conflict with singer Darko vibes. He has provided insights into the untold story that has been taking place behind the scenes of the music industry.
Vacs looked back on the group of skilled individuals they were surrounded by in Mallam, a suburb of Accra. They shared a strong bond and promised to support one another on their journey to success when they first met.
Nevertheless, the situation underwent a significant change when Darko vibes rose to prominence with his hit song “Mercy,” which was produced by Vacs, the same artist. Vacs expressed his dissatisfaction with Darko vibes, pointing out that his attitude had changed since becoming famous. He specifically talked about Darkovibes’ seemingly disrespectful behavior in an interview with Kwaku Manu.
During the interview, Darko vibes undermined Vacs’ importance and referred to him as just a ‘studio boy’ when they initially met. The producer was straightforward in revealing what he considered to be Darko vibes’ deceptive social media persona and living conditions. He claimed that despite his fame, the musician actually lives in a simple and small room.
Vacs highlighted Darko vibes’ recent concert as further evidence of the artist going back to his original style, indicating a decline in his career’s progress. Vacs expressed his clear frustration with a strong tone, referring to Darko vibes as a ‘sellout’ and blaming him for leaving behind the close friends and collaborators who helped him succeed in the music industry.
Regardless of the disagreement, Vacs continues to pursue his own artistic ventures undeterred. He has recently released two songs called “Kill Me” and “Jungle,” as both a producer and musician, which can be found on different streaming platforms.
