Most university certificates acquired in Ghana don’t work outside the country – Flowking Stone

One of Ghana’s sensational Hiplife rappers, Kwaku Nsia Boama, otherwise known as Flowking Stone has detailed the reason why most Ghanaians resort to washing cooking utensils and doing other menial jobs when they go abroad.

According to him, most university certificates acquired in Ghana do not work outside the country which makes it difficult to get a very ‘formal’ job. The music star made this comment during an interview on Cape Coast-based Property FM.

Responding to rumors that he engages in such menial jobs in the UK,  the ‘Go low’ hitmaker stated that, ”I don’t wash car tyres here in the UK and I’m not doing any menial jobs like washing of the cooking utensils which is also not bad at all. But here in the UK what I’ve realized is about certification and most certificates we acquire in Ghana don’t work here outside the country.”

“That’s the reason why most people resort to doing menial jobs that don’t need certification here abroad and so you have to start afresh,” he added.
