The Football Association has confirmed that Bukayo Saka will not be able to participate in England’s upcoming international matches against Australia and Italy.

The player from Arsenal was selected for Gareth Southgate’s squad on Thursday, even though there were worries about his physical condition due to being substituted in recent games at Bournemouth and Lens. Saka had a meeting with England’s medical team at St George’s Park on Monday and it has been officially announced that he will go back to Arsenal for more treatment.

“The statement from the FA mentioned that the forward joined the Three Lions’ squad at St George’s Park on Monday.” After not being able to play in Arsenal’s victory against Manchester City in the Premier League due to an injury, Saka underwent evaluation by England’s medical team.

They concluded that Saka should continue his recovery with his club. Gareth Southgate has a squad of 25 players to work with, and there are no plans to make any replacements. Southgate’s team will play against Australia in a friendly match at Wembley on Friday evening, and then they will face Italy in London the following Tuesday.

Southgate had made it clear on Thursday that he would prioritize Saka’s safety and would not make any risky decisions, even though the game against Italy was an important qualifying match for the European Championship.

Earlier this week, Southgate mentioned that he can solely rely on the information provided by Mikel (Arteta) when it comes to the recent games.

“We provide care and support for the players comparable to that of any country.” There is consistently attention on our players because they mainly play their club football in England, and they also play for our team here.

While players in the Premier League are given attention and their well-being is prioritized, other countries do not seem to focus on taking care of their players and providing proper training for them.

I believe that if we engage in fruitful conversations with all of their clubs, it is likely that most of them would acknowledge that we provide superior feedback compared to other countries.

“They believe in our ability to make long-term decisions that are in their best interest whenever possible.” We have a limited quantity of just ten matches annually.

There have been instances when Bukayo, for instance, has not been given the opportunity to play in certain situations.
