The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has made a diplomatic statement to announce that they will be removing the membership of four well-known individuals because they have openly shown their support for Alan Kojo Kyeremanten.

Yaw Buaben Asamoa, Nana Ohene Ntow, Hopeson Adorye, and Boniface Abubakar Saddique have severed ties with the ruling party, as stated in the press release, due to their support for the ex-Minister of Trade and Industry. The claim, supported by General Secretary Justin Kodua Frimpong, points out a breach of the party’s constitution, specifically mentioning Articles 3(5) (A)(4) and 3(9)(1).

These constitutional clauses highlight the responsibility of party members to follow and openly support the party’s decisions. The press release recognizes that the party is aware of the actions of the people mentioned, who have consistently been connected to the NPP party even though they have violated the party’s constitution.

The text concludes by highlighting that these individuals’ actions go against the fundamental beliefs of the party, resulting in the loss of their party membership.
