United States of America Secretary of State Antony Blinken provided assurances that the United States will continue its support.

Backing for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, as he prepares for a gathering in Tel Aviv, following a series of violent assaults by the Palestinian group Hamas on Israel during the past weekend.

“Blinken assured Netanyahu that they are present and not planning to leave.” On X, Hussein al-Sheikh, the Secretary-General of the Palestine Liberation Organization, stated that Blinken will meet with President Mahmoud Abbas of the Palestinian Authority on Friday, but it will be a separate meeting.

The United States has strongly condemned the acts of violence by Hamas and previously suggested the creation of a safe passage for civilians living in the Gaza Strip.

As sirens blare and the war persists, the number of casualties keeps increasing in both Israel and Gaza.

Israeli Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, Israel Katz, stated on Thursday that the blockade on Gaza will remain in place until Hamas returns the Israeli hostages to their home country.
